The Patricians
A cutaway acoustic with a natural spruce top and warm brown binding through the body and back. The cutaway puts the upper frets within reach, which is what you want the first time a lesson goes past the fifth fret.
Richer Guitars
A guitar brand, built by people who teach guitar.
Richer is the group’s own guitar brand — designed by the same people who run a music school, and tested by the students in it.
Two acoustic models are in production today — the PTC and the FATBOY. A line of electric guitars is being built now, along with the accessories that go around them.
Richer sits under KMC Music Center, alongside GasHopper. Being part of a music school is the point: an instrument gets played by beginners and teachers every day before it is ever sold.

Richer FATBOY
Jumbo body, white finish
A bigger body in gloss white with a black pickguard. The larger chamber pushes more air, so it carries further unplugged — built for players who want to be heard across a room rather than in one.
